Als Badesee und mit seinen abwechslungsreichen Freizeitangeboten wie Volleyballfeld, Spielplatz, Grillh\u00fctte und separaten Hundestrand bietet er allerhand M\u00f6glichkeiten zur Naherholung. Auch das gastronomische Angebot spielt dabei eine wichtige Rolle. Ein Highlight ist besonders im Sommer die Terrasse mit Blick auf den See, die im Zuge des LEADER-Projektes abgerissen wurde und nun neu aufgebaut und weitgehend barrierefrei gestaltet wird. Auch optisch erf\u00e4hrt sie eine Neugestaltung, u. a. durch Bepflanzung, einem Pavillon und einer Seeufer-Treppe.<\/p>\n<p>Der Eixer See liegt zwischen Peine und V\u00f6hrum nahe der A2.
